Student Training Program

The ARCafé is a place-based education project for island youth. Student staff members earn wages while gaining skills and experience in a real world business setting. Through this program public school students may receive academic credit for participation in hands-on, standards-based, life-skills training guided by ARC educator/mentors. After piloting the program this school year, The ARC hopes to offer it as an elective open to all Vinalhaven middle- and high school students.
