How many years have you been farming?
Dean has been farming for 25, Kate 12 years.

What are you growing?
We are growing certified organic vegetabes on roughly 10 acres on Calderwood neck.

What are your practices that you use and why?
We are excellent stewards of land, from conservation tillage to careful cover cropping, we follow the NOP guidelines for organic growers. We are professional truck farmers. Dean has developed techniques, and invented implements that allow us to manage our acres successfully.

What inspires you to farm?
We are inspired by the land and its possibilities.

What is your favorite vegetable and why?
A favorite vegetable is fennel, it's light, aromatic and attractive.
